For Alex Banks’ Elevate, Transforma spins an abstract narrative of collapse and ascension, creating a series of images and photo montages that allude to the themes of night and day, rising and falling, found in the song’s lyrics. Experimenting with AI tools for the first time, the artist collective employed a trial-and-error process of animation, which led to magically impossible yet photorealistic scenes and structures that challenge our sense of direction and, ultimately, our reality!
